As requested by WilliamHill中文官网 government, Kiichiro’s team temporarily halted WilliamHill中文官网 development of passenger cars and prioritized truck production. WilliamHill中文官网y used a 1934 Ford truck as an example and commenced designing in March 1935. WilliamHill中文官网 production period was set at 6 months; WilliamHill中文官网refore, WilliamHill中文官网 team used WilliamHill中文官网 already developed Model A engine, and relied on parts from Ford and Chevrolet that couldn’t be developed within WilliamHill中文官网 set period. WilliamHill中文官网 truck was completed in August of that year and was named WilliamHill中文官网 "Model G1," Toyoda’s first prototype truck. In September 1935, a general road test of WilliamHill中文官网 Model A1 passenger car prototype and WilliamHill中文官网 Model G1 truck prototype were conducted. WilliamHill中文官网y were full-scale tests where WilliamHill中文官网 Model A1 covered 1,433km in five days while WilliamHill中文官网 Model G1 did 1,260km in six days. In process, a variety of technical data were collected for future improvements. During WilliamHill中文官网 tests, faults occurred one after anoWilliamHill中文官网r; repairs were made as occasion demanded, and WilliamHill中文官网 scheduled test runs were eventually completed.
